When police arrived on the scene they apparently tried to mediate the dispute, by telling Jerry Mercado and Lisa Braun to not intentionally shine a spotlight into their neighbor's home, Northampton Township police said.

Mercado and Braun refused to remove the spotlight and kept it in the direction of their neighbor's property over the next few nights, police said.

The pair were taken into custody on Feb 2 and were charged with harassment and disorderly conduct.
